The agricultural company “Magnani”, based in Verona (Italy), has been using Mater-Bi mulch film for the cultivation of industrial hemp for two years.

In order to fully meet the standard and requirements of its customers (companies in the pharmaceutical and parapharmaceutical sector), Magnani has chosen to avoid the use of herbicides and pesticides, and to ensure the control of pests by using the mulch film made of Mater-Bi, which does not have to be collected or disposed of at the end of the crop cycle. The mulch film is in fact incorporated into the soil, where it biodegrades.
